On December 3rd, in classroom D407, we host a professional information seminar named “Civil Engineering, leading the way”. The target audience of the lecture is mainly for international students majoring in civil engineering in 2019, as well as those international students interested in civil engineering.
Junliang Zhao, the director of College of Civil Engineering and Architecture International Education Office, expressed warmly welcome to all students. Because they are freshmen, so Mr Zhao briefly introduced what is civil engineering major and how is development prospect. Zexiang Wu, deputy director of College of Civil Engineering and Architecture International Education Office, introduced in detail the history, architecture, materials, software, structure and management of civil engineering related field. Our college has a wealth of laboratories and research equipment for students to use.
The seminar was a great success. The teachers had in-depth exchanges with the 2019 freshmen, so that the students could have a deeper understanding of the civil engineering major, which provided directions for the formulation of learning goals and career development in the future.
